What are the services like?
Our church family is comprised of young and old with a mixture of backgrounds. Worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise. Pastor Danny preaches Bible-based messages that are timely and applicable. At the end of each service, the congregation is invited to respond to the message, to accept Christ as Savior, to make a spiritual decision, or simply to pray.

What kind of music will I hear?
First Baptist Church, Fort Gibson Choir and Orchestra present Christ honoring music with the goal of exalting our Savior. Our Worship Minister puts a lot of time into the multi media production utilizing video with song. Congregational singing also plays a major role in our worship services.

Where can I park?
We have parking near the main entrance for our visitors. Please take advantage of these special parking places during your visit.

What happens when I arrive?
Friendly greeters will meet you at the door. They can direct you to the auditorium, classrooms, or nurseries. Greeters and ushers will be happy to answer any questions you may have during your visit.

What about infants, toddlers, and children?
There are well-equipped and fully-supervised nurseries to care for infants and toddlers during each of our weekly services. Classes are available for children through 5th grade. 6th grade through 12th grade meet as part of First Student Ministries.

Do you have Children’s Church?
Yes, we have a dynamic Children’s church that coincides with our Worship service. Our philosophy is to ready our children for “Big church” by having their church mimic an actual worship service but gear it just for them. This ministry is, of course, optional. If you want your children to attend Worship with you as a family, feel free!

How can I meet others?
One of the best ways to meet others and develop friendships is to be involved in a Sunday school class. We have a wide variety of classes available. Our classes give opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth.
