Worship Ministry

There are many passages of Scripture that guide our worship ministry here at First Baptist Church. We will sing and play our music:

With Understanding
Psalm 47:6-7 "Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding."
1 Corinthians 14:15b "I will pray with the Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding. I will also sing with the Spirit and I will sing with understanding."

Joyfully
James 5:13 "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms."
Psalm 33:3 "Play skillfully with shouts of Joy."

Skillfully
2 Chronicles 34:12b "all of whom were skillful with instruments of music"

Our worship ministry opportunities for you to use your talents to glorify God:

Sanctuary Choir (Center)
Wednesdays at 6:20 p.m. - 7:10 p.m., and Sundays after evening service

Sanctuary Orchestra
Sundays 8:45 a.m. and Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m.

AWANA Choir
Wednesdays at 6 p.m. (Kindergarten through 5th grade)
